Strategic Plan

Twenty20 Strategic Plan for Baugo Community Schools

"Small School Feel, World Class Education"

The Twenty20 Plan is the name given to the current strategic plan for the Baugo Community Schools.  It was developed  initially in 2009 in consultation with members of the Baugo Board of School Trustees and the administrative staff.  It is reviewed annually for the level of success of the implementation of the various strategies that have been developed to bring about improvement in the school district.

Strategic Planning is a process for creating the district’s preferred future. It is a long-range planning process for district renewal and transformation for the next 3 to 5 years that:

  • provides a framework for setting future priorities/pursuits for improvement that are focused on district, school and student achievement;
  • effectively deals with change in a proactive rather than reactive manner by establishing a common purpose, a sense of direction, priorities for change, and a blueprint for action;
  • helps the district think and act strategically;
  • clarifies future directions;
  • establishes priorities;
  • improves organizational performance; and,
  • builds teamwork and expertise, and helps to deal effectively with a rapidly changing environment.
